There are those who say it is difficult to be a practicing Catholic and a successful business and family man. I disagree. And I define practicing Catholic as one who does not pick and choose those Church teachings he finds to be compatible with his business or personal life. The teachings of the Church came and still come first and one picks and chooses a business and personal life to be compatible with the teachings of the Church. Each dawn is a gift. It is a gift to us as men of the world and it is also a gift with which we are entrusted by God to do something to build His kingdom. Each thing we do throughout the day is a part of that gift back to God. Thus, we must sanctify everything we do – how we practice our faith, love our family, and conduct our business.
